Happy New Year, {{firstName | friend}}!

You recently signed up for The Art Therapy Lab with a promise of "more coming in January."

January is here! And I haven’t forgotten my commitment.

Starting January 25th:

  • You’ll get an email every 3 weeks with new content links

  • Research insights that don't require a PhD to understand

  • Practical tools you can actually use

  • Honest conversations about what's really happening in art therapy

The first batch of content launches on January 25th and focuses on art therapy as an "evidence-based practice.” I'll post across the most popular platforms, so you can find me wherever you are. However, this email list is where I'll share more in-depth reflections and offer early access.

What I WON’T do:

  • Overwhelm you with daily emails

  • Sell courses every two minutes (those will come later, and they'll be community events)

  • Pretend I have it all figured out

I’m not trying to build a following. I’m trying to bring together like-minded art therapists for important conversations. Art therapy is facing an identity crisis, and there’s power in community and solidarity.

You're part of the founding group - the first people who said "yes, this matters."

Thank you for that.

Talk to you soon!

Malissa

P.S. Hit reply and tell me: what's your biggest frustration or worry in art therapy right now? I'm genuinely asking, and I read every response.
